Position Description:

Great opportunity to continue your career path in Social and Human Services. Manage the day-to-day operations of one to four programs on our campus or in the community, including organization and implementation of person-centered plans, advocacy, stakeholder relations, regulatory compliance, staffing, training, and financial management. Manage program staff members including performance evaluations, scheduling, and orientation. Make recommendations and/or decisions on employee hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, corrective action, and terminations. Manage the implementation of program planning; monitor delivery of services and supports; ensure services are consistent, engaging, and relevant to the individuals served. Must be available on-call to support staff, find coverage or cover shifts as needed.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide oversight of direct care staff providing services to individuals.
  • Coordinate the assignment of work of facility staff.
  • Assist in the interview/hiring process and with scheduling.
  • Provides coaching and feedback to employees along with ongoing informal and formal performance discussions and assist with annual performance reviews.
  • Monitors budget for the residential setting.
  • Manage activities to ensure financial goals are met.
  • Monitor budget variances and implement corrective action plans as needed.
  • Oversees household activities, housekeeping, and meal preparation for individual served.
  • Provides oversight to direct care staff with individual’s integration into the community by assisting in arranging transportation to recreational and social events.
  • Coordinates and attends medical appointments of individuals served when necessary.
  • Monitors the comfort and safety of individuals served while ensuring living environments and program activities follow regulatory requirements through SJV and DODD.
  • Maintains accurate records, including records of activities and developmental progress of individuals served.
  • Provides on-call assistance to staff during emergencies and schedules staff to fill shifts as needed.
  • Reviews all purchase requests for client inventory and house supplies.
  • Prepares various reports and other correspondence in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Presents a professional image to all guests and/or possible clientele by greeting them, in person or on the telephone and answering or directing inquiries in a professional manner at all times.
  • Maintains employee’s confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Completes projects by working with fellow staff; following up on results.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies when necessary.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • As assigned, provide support to the President with various duties and assignments.
  • Any other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • Administrative Experience
  • Bachelor's degree, working with individuals with DD

 

Compensation:

Salary $55,000 - $62,000 / yearly
